Q: When will my game arrive?
A: If you've bought an Unboxed Edition, please check your email. You should have received your order from the email that you purchased with. Make sure to check your spam too. 

For Boxed Editions, please allow between 10-14 working days if you've had confirmation that the pre-order window has closed. You'll get an email update when it's on its way to you.

Q: How do pre-orders work for Boxed Editions?
A: All our Boxed Editions are available for pre-order. For each game, we aim to receive a minimum number of pre-orders before starting a print run. This is to make sure that we are manufacturing in an efficient and economical way.

To place a pre-order, you'll need to pay £9.99 on the day. When we have hit the minimum number of pre-orders, we will email you to finish your purchase by paying £15 (for a total of £24.99, not including any discount codes). At this point, we'll let you know when you can expect your game to be delivered.

We know that this means some wait times are longer, so we do include an Unboxed Edition with every purchase if the overall wait time is longer than a month.

Q: What is an Unboxed Edition?
A: Unboxed Editions are a new way to get your gaming fix. Buying Unboxed means you get all the files you need to print your cards at home (often known as print-and-play). It allows us to create games with much reduced costs - so we pass the savings on to you, hence the discount of up to 80% of the Boxed Editions!

Q: What is a Boxed Edition?
A: A Boxed Edition is a physical card game, printed by me and posted to your door. Professional quality that's perfect for gifts or for times when you don't have a printer handy. With a Boxed Edition, you simply pre-order, wait for delivery and then you can get started!

Q: What do I actually get with an Unboxed Edition?
A: You will receive an email that contains your cards on a template file, allowing you to quickly and easily print your cards at home. You will also receive links to videos to guide you through the process of crafting your game at home.

Q: What's in the Boxed Edition?
A: You get professionally printed cards in a lovingly designed box. Our games vary in size so some games have more cards than others, so while they should all fit through your letterbox, there may be the odd occasion when they don't.

Q: Can I customise my game?
A: One of the advantages of buying your games from an independent business is that we can accommodate reasonable requests for customisation ahead of printing. Please email us with your request ahead of time and we'll make every effort to accommodate for you!

Q: How do I pay?
A: We use Stripe to collect payment for your purchases. When you're buying, you simply click the "Buy Now" button for the edition you want, and you'll go to a Stripe page. Make sure you use the email or delivery address you want you games sent to at checkout. You'll receive a receipt from us to your email afterwards.

Q: Who actually makes the games?
A: Every single Egg & Spoon game has been conceptualised, designed, playtested, manufactured, packaged, and everything else by me (Hi, I'm David!). From the copy on your cards to the way the box is put together, I'm not just overseeing it all - I'm doing it all, too! So you know that every game sent to you is one crafted with the same love and attention I put into the card games I make for myself, my friends and my family.
